Guidelines For Paper Presentation

  1. Presenter should be registered member of the IPS and must have registered for the 47th IPS national conference during submission of the abstract.
  2. Student is allowed to participate in only one out of the following events: Scientific Paper, E-Poster and Table clinics.
  3. All the paper presentations are categorized as: original research, case report & review.
  4. The presentations should adhere to the central theme of the conference-Prosthodontics : Explore, integrate & evolve..
  5. The structured abstract should be submitted not exceeding 250 words. The abstract headings should be as follows:
    1. For original and secondary researches: Background, methods, Results, Conclusions.
    2. Case reports: Background, Case report, Conclusion.
    3. Reviews: Background, Summary,and Conclusion.
  6. Upload the abstract by logging in to www.47thipsraipur2019.com.
  7. Only E- submission is accepted. Hand written/ typed abstract and submission through fax will not be accepted.
  8. Last date for submission of abstract is 31st August 2019. Selected authors will be informed to upload the final paper as per guidelines by 20 th September 2019.
  9. Name, last name and title, Institution, City and contact details of authors shall be stated clearly in the abstract.
  10. No tables, charts, or graphs shall be included in the abstract.
  11. The abstract should not have been submitted or accepted at any other state, national or international scientific meeting.
  12. Abstracts of the unfinished researches will not be accepted.
  13. Abstracts with plagiarism will not be accepted.
  14. File format of the presentation should be PowerPoint[.ppt]
  15. Duration of each presentation should be 10 minutes( 8+2 min discussion)
  16. Only single screen multimedia projectors will be provided for presentation
  17. Two paper presentations are allowed from each college with intake of up to 6 PG seats per Batch. Colleges with more than 6 PG seats per batch are entitled for an additional one paper.
  18. The maximum number of participants is restricted to 2 students per paper presentation; both the presenter should be registered and should be present at the time of their presentation. Second presenter will be considered as Co-author. Presentation will be done by main author only.
  19. Certificates will be provided to all the authors and co-authors.
  20. All session best papers will need to be presented again on 1st December 2019 for the Best Paper Awards.
  21. The decision of the scientific committee is final and binding in all situations.
